No Man’s Sky Dev Is Already Finishing Work on First Big Update
Although No Man’s Sky launches next week, developer Hello Games recently revealed that they are already hard at work on the game’s first big update, and according to creative lead Sean Murray it’s going to be a big one. But it seems the development team still had some last-minute tweaks to check off once production had wrapped.

While many studios prepare updates after their games’ release, Hello Games has reportedly been working on a brand new update for “No Man’s Sky” and rumor has it that the patch is going to be a doozy.
In a tweet earlier today Murray stated, “Wrapping up a month of work on our first update”.
That doesn’t mean developer Hello Games has been sitting around waiting for the launch to come before they address issues.
Furthermore, even though the first update’s already nearly done, the studio hasn’t announced exactly when fans can expect it to be available. Bearing in mind the standard operating procedures of most releases nowadays, though, it’s more than likely that Hello Games is eyeing day one as the release date for the patch.

If you’re anything like me, instead of playing games this week you’ve been watching leaked videos of No Man’s Sky gameplay footage. I’m keeping it that way until August 9, too.
