No Man’s Sky Explorer Edition is utterly gorgeous and out now
Hello Games has stated that it’s now working on a patch for the recently released space sim, although no specific update notes or release window have been given just yet. Similarly, gamers can adjust their on-foot and in-flight fields of view, as well as the screen resolution, window mode, and primary monitor settings.

We don’t know exactly when this patch will be released as Hello Games clearly states that they can’t give us an ETA for this update because they are now busy with making the PC version of the game live. Be aware that the game is locked at 30 frames per second upon launch, and you’ll have to manually bump that up if you want a smoother experience. Hopefully the forthcoming patch un-breaks the game for those people and stabilizes things in general. “Right now, performance is too bad for me to recommend at all. No Man’s Lag. DO NOT BUY” added Steam user Robo Hobo. He then tried applying an update, but to little avail. For starters, the mouse and keyboard interface isn’t almost as easy to use as I’d hoped.
Players have been experiencing issues on the PS4 side of things as well, with a post on the No Man’s Sky official website saying that PS4 owners have been reporting bugs and crashes. In most cases the player is actually able to continue (107 of the 135 reports emailed so far).
“Number three please make sure your GFX card is above the min spec. OpenGL 4.5 is required to play No Man’s Sky”.
KitGuru Says: No Man’s Sky has been out on the PS4 for a few days but I do wonder, how many of you guys have been holding out for the PC version? “Update and restart if needed”, he continued just a short time later.

“Number two issue so far is players who have out of date GFX drivers, or none installed”.
