‘No Man’s Sky’: from a humble shed to a new huge universe
Yesterday, Reddit user TheGalacticCactus planned to meet up with Twitch streamer Psytokat on the same planet in No Man’s Sky. That last bit is actually one of the most interesting aspects of the title. After scrutinizing the data, they discovered that the game doesn’t transmit any player movement and position data to its servers. They were at the same spot in the galaxy, but they may as well have been in alternate universes.

It is the largest exploration game ever, with as big as 18-quintillion planets all there for the characters to explore. Other tweaks include adjustments to standard combat, space combat, more risky planet types, updated terrain generation, more ship types, and the ability to scan areas for other players to make interaction with each other across the game’s 18 quintillion (really) worlds more likely.
Two streamers found each each other last night when one stumbled across the other’s named planet and looked up its discoverer online. You receive little information, thing that might inconvenience some of the inexperienced players.
Note that the video has been captured since the last version of the game (1.03), thus including the massive launch of patch. In the game, players can sell goods and buy them using a currency system called Units and you will be able to craft new goods with the resources you find in your planet.
As is nearly common with highly anticipated games, No Man’s Sky was subject to delays.

Murray also promised that they will stick to the schedule this time around. They will be paid for discovering unknown creatures and planets by a system’s space station, and other random terrestrial areas. RabidRetrospectGames has a video detailing what happens (or rather, can happen) when you reach the center of the galaxy in No Man’s Sky, and I’m going to share it with you. From dogfighting in space to first-person combat on a planet’s surface, you will face foes ready to overwhelm you.
