No Man’s Sky suffering from numerous issues on PC

One reason some players could be confused if they had or not, is that the ship names displayed in-game were incorrect.

The PS4 and PC title has been on every sci-fi fans radar as far back as 2013 when it was first announced and is already causing quite a stir in the gaming community having now been officially released to the world.

“No Man’s Sky’s” 30fps frame rate cap and frame rate drops, however, will not likely be an issue for PC players.

No Man’s Sky is heading for the stars in its Steam launch. The post penned by Sean Murray, notes that they are tracking issues such as crashes and bugs as player report them. The number of creatures on the screen and even the terrain do not seem to have an effect on the performance of the game, Gamespot reported.

To help it deal with mounting customer issues, the studio is contracting with an outside quality assurance firm – a company larger than Hello Games itself – to handle customer feedback.

Developer Hello Games said earlier that it’s working to adapt to the large number of players now exploring the game’s universe, and added that average player session far exceeded expectations.

Murray adds that players who might have run into an issue where they don’t have a hyperdrive in their ship are usually directed “to a nearby NPC who will give the player the hyperdrive they need”, while others were able to resolve the issue by restarting their console. “That said, we’re working quickly to adapt”. The universe will be your oyster soon enough.
