He is joined by Star Trek and Deus Ex writer James Swallow, as they aided hello Games in crafting the game’s sci-fi lore and loose narrative.

Both Swallow and Gibbons helped develop some of the “nitty gritty of the lore” by lending their knowledge to the team.
When creating buildings, for instance, the team tried to think of who might have built it, and why. They’ve also been at the helm of the creation of ‘Adventures in No Man’s Sky’, a limited edition comic book that will ship with the game’s Limited Edition box set.
The very ambitious No Man’s Sky might not feature a clearly designed single-player campaign, but the developers working on the game at Hello Games are saying that they are still planning to introduce a wide amount of lore that gamers will have to interact with regardless of the planets that they find and explore.
The two have apparently created an environment for things to happen in “No Man’s Sky”.
The collaboration among the developer and the two storytellers is a great way to give a glimpse of the overall lore that “No Man’s Sky” has.
In fact, the game has already been made available for pre-order through Amazon since the start of this year and comes with a retail price of $59.99. Heck, if No Man’s Sky has strong initial sales throughout June and July, Sony should definitely consider pumping a little extra into the pockets of Hello Games to get a VR-ready rendition of the game up and out for the PS VR for the headset’s launch this October.

Sean Murray states that “No Man’s Sky” is going to be the game of every video gamer’s dreams because nearly anything is possible and all kinds of exploration negotiable in the game. It’s a bit different to what you might be used to with some other games.
