No Man’s Sky has been targeted by consumers particularly for its wealth of unfulfilled promises, although some are happy with the adventure-centered experience it offers. The races you encounter (in my case, the warrior-like Vy’keen) speak their own languages, and you have to learn their languages by finding Knowledge Stones on planets, each of which gives you one word. Many of these players have gone to the Steam Community forums and review section to voice their frustration.

No Man’s Sky is barely out of the gate on PC and already the release seems to be plagued with launch issues.
He notes that about 107 of the 135 players who reported the issue to Hello Games so far were able to eventually continue. The first patch, which is out now, brings that important piece into the install process. “Update and restart if needed”.
It has been a week of dramatic deep space exploration for an abundance of PlayStation 4 owners, thanks to the release of the eagerly anticipated No Man’s Sky.
Reportedly, the game suffers from performance issues ranging from stuttering, low framerate, random crashes, and failing to load.
We have gotten back to a lot of people already, who were trying to run the game significantly below min spec.

Many gamers had chose to take to Steam and register their disgust on the Internet, and not a few have gone full Comic Book Guy on Hello Games and the various bugs plaguing No Man’s Sky.

“Configurable graphics settings include Anisotropic Filtering, Anti-Aliasing, Generation Detail (the image quality of the randomly-generated terrain and objects), Reflection Quality, Shadow Detail, and Texture Detail”. Even on the most powerful gaming rigs with top-of-the-line video cards, No Man’s Sky freezes up for up to a second at a time while the game struggles to render the visuals.
