Earlier this month, an IN man won the 7th largest Mega Millions jackpot IN lottery history at $540 million.
A big jackpot is on the line in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing.
Marvin and Mae Acosta from Chino Hills bought a Powerball ticket worth up to $528 million. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern time. The current jackpot has been growing since May 11, with 22 consecutive drawings that have failed to produce a grand prize victor.
Powerball is played in 44 states, but tickets aren’t sold in Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada and Utah.
Remember the Leicester City Foxes, that underdog British soccer team that won the Premier League championship in May? Before the rules changed in 2015, the odds were 175 million to 1.
Four players in MI matched four white balls and the Powerball to win $50,000. The next drawing is Saturday.
