He said no less a person than NSA Doval had “further compounded the confusion” that seems to have become this government’s “hallmark” as far as dealing with extremely serious and sensitive issues of national security are concerned.
“Based on initial investigations in Pakistan, and the information provided, several individuals belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammad have been apprehended”.
Express Tribune’ reported. Sharif’s decision to form the JIT came after the leads provided by India which has linked the Foreign Secretary-level talks, scheduled for January 15, to Islamabad’s decisive action on the terror attack on its air base.
Regarding Pathankot terror attack case, the National Investigative Agency (NIA) is trying to secure Interpol’s black corner notice to seek information about unidentified bodies of terrorists, who were killed in the attack.
Pakistan in its report said that the telephone numbers given by India were not listed in Pakistan, reported the News International quoting Geo TV.
Indian authorities had provided Pakistan details of telephonic conversations of the terrorists which they had with their handlers and family members from the air-base.
As the Indian government continues to accuse Pakistan of the Pathankot airbase attack, the Indian minister said history tells us that until those who inflict damage on others experience the same pain, they don t change.
Now, what remains to be seen is will this be seen as action which India was looking for or would it be just mere lip service by Pakistan.
In the terror attack on Pathankot Air Force base that began on January 2, six militants were also eliminated in an operation that lasted four days. Upon his arrival, the Indian High Commissioner said that he will work towards improvement in Pak-India relations.
