One of the tickets was sold at this 7-Eleven in Chino Hills, California.
The winners overcame odds of 1 in 292.2 million to land on all the numbers: 4-8-19-27-34 and Powerball 10.
The nurse would have been one of three winners to share the jackpot.
No details were immediately available about the Florida victor.
More than 30 media trucks were parked outside the Chino Hills store to cover the event. The lottery president will announce the retailer and present it a check for $25,000.
“This is insane”, the 17-year-old Love, who attends Chino Hills High School, said. A 7-Eleven in Chino Hills, California, will get $1 million. Taxin reported from Chino Hills and Schneider from Melbourne Beach. “I didn’t believe it and then I looked at it carefully again”, Mr Atwal said.
The prospect of becoming an instant billionaire spurred ticket-buyers to imagine an affluent future. Since the jackpot was last hit on November 4, 2015, a total of $2.65 billion worth of Powerball tickets has been sold, he added. Tennessee officials did not immediately say which of the three Munford stores offering Powerball tickets produced the victor.
Nelson Moreno, 53, drove from Moreno Valley to witness the excitement.
Officials are still determining the amount that those tickets are worth.
“Maybe if he comes, he will give us some money”, Moreno said. On Thursday, The California Lottery presented the owner of the convenience store with a $1 million check. However, when he saw that Atwal was giving away Slurpees, he just smiled.
“They’re celebrating in the store”.
The Ohio Lottery says the state’s million-dollar tickets were sold at a Speedway in Centerville, at Erieview Towers News in Cleveland and at Broadway Food Center in Toledo.
A Powerball victor was not guaranteed.

The Powerball jackpot also brought additional benefits for two lucky players who participated in some of the Idaho Lottery’s other draw games.
