No Superman in ‘Suicide Squad’, says Henry Cavill

Will Smith recently celebrated Adewale Akkinuoye-Agbaje’s birthday on the “Suicide Squad” set by presenting him with a cake while Henry Cavill revealed if Superman will have a cameo appearance in the upcoming film. The latest Popcorn Talk’s “DC Movie News” podcast saw Jon Schnepp, the man behind “The Death Of “Superman Lives”: What Happened” who has confidently claimed that George Miller, who directed Mad Max: Fury Road, one of the films of the year is down to direct the sequel to the 2013 film. We can’t wait to see what she brings to the role. In the San Diego Comic-Con footage, Amanda Waller is heard speculating that Superman’s public debut acted as some kind of “beacon” for the superpowered and specially talented to emerge from the shadows.
Meanwhile it’s been confirmed by Jon Schnepp, the man behind the documentary The Death Of “Superman Lives”: What Happened?, that George Miller will be helming Man Of Steel 2. However the actor didn’t rule out appearing in future Suicide Squad outings, suggesting there “might” be a place for Superman in the sequels. Perhaps that would be the prime time to introduce someone like Metallo or Parasite?
