No Trump at debate looks like progress

Donald Trump told Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” that his decision to skip the Republican debate in Iowa last week and instead hold a benefit for veterans may have worked to the advantage of his opponents. Ted Cruz. The billionaire businessman also had some profane words for the Iowa victor.

Former Massachusetts US senator Scott Brown, now a New Hampshire resident, will endorse Donald Trump’s presidential campaign tonight at a campaign rally in Milford, the Trump campaign confirmed to the Globe.

As he’d done earlier today in Twitter, Trump bashed reporters in the room for declaring his Iowa finish a loss while heralding Rubio’s third-place finish as a major win.

Trump slammed Cruz for allegedly playing dirty tricks in Iowa, and said the senator’s status as a native of Canada would prevent him from ever becoming president. Trump points to polls raising voter expectations as the reason for the spotlight on his campaign.

It was a stark contrast from the bombastic rhetoric Trump has often deployed on the campaign trail and a shift from his central argument that he is a victor and that the United States would become great again during a Trump presidency. But it also could mean people find it a lot easier to say they’re going to vote for Trump than to actually do so.

Trump took to Instagram on January 26, where he posted a video in which he suggested that Kelly would be biased against him due to their tumultuous history. But that one event he chose to call Fox’s bluff on may have cost him a victory in Iowa… a victory that would have essentially ended any chance Ted Cruz had at the nomination. Why? He stressed that he will be in New Hampshire doing the debates.

“And these people I’m negotiating with all the time, these people on the stage with me, they say, ‘You should disavow what Putin of Russian Federation said'”. He has a substantial lead in polls in the state.

“I didn’t want to be here, to be honest, I wanted to be about five minutes away”, Trump told crowds of supporters, according to Reuters.

“The media has not covered my long-shot great finish in Iowa fairly”, he tweeted. “Central casting”, Trump said.

The acknowledgments of responsibility from Trump came after he had spent the day criticizing others, including the media and the voters themselves.

“To turn out Indian Americans in New Hampshire to vote for Donald Trump on February 9, the Indian-Americans for Trump 2016 officers made a decision to educate the Indian-Americans about the primary election process”, a statement said.
