No way Jose: Chelsea sack manager Mourinho
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was sacked to “protect the interests of the club” and owner Roman Abramovich had to act because of a “palpable discord between manager and players”, technical director Michael Emenalo said.

Acknowledged as the most successful manager in Chelsea’s history, and claiming they would not find anyone better, he retained the affection of many fans to the end but crucially seemed to have lost some of the dressing room.
Emenalo indicated that one of the “quality coaches embedded” at Chelsea would be in temporary charge for Saturday’s home match against Sunderland, raising questions about the Hiddink reports.
However, the Portuguese is NOT set for a lucrative pay-off from the Stamford Bridge club.
Tim Rolls, chairman of the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust, said: “My personal view, and the sense I am getting from social media, is there will be chants for the manager before the game and at the start”.
The personal conduct of the “Special One” was also proving damaging to Chelsea, with Mourinho engaging in public spats with referees, a television rights holder and even the club’s doctor over the a year ago.
“If you are a big player, and paid like a big player, you must play like a big player and behave like a big player”, Fabregas told a Facebook question and answer session on Tuesday.
“I’ll be happy to park this game and go forward”.
John Terry was with the rest of the Chelsea squad at the club’s Cobham training ground when they were informed of the board’s decision to sack Jose Mourinho.
“I want to get some good insight before I make my decision”, said Hiddink.
“It’s probably been the most hard time of his career and he’s been left thinking: ‘What do I do next?’ because we’ve never seen him in this situation where he’s struggling for results and people are questioning him”.
He helped the club lift the FA Cup on his final day in charge before he returned to his role as Russian manager though he later coached Turkey.
“It could take hours or days before I say yes or no. The news is fresh”.
“There’s been a major fallout between him and the players, because no group of players of that quality should be where they are”, he said. “But this is a misleading statistic because not changing the manager would have had the same result”. The Premier league is better with Mourinho.
The Dutch manager is still in talks over an interim role at the club after Jose Mourinho was yesterday dismissed, but is expected to take over.
