If Shipley was the most productive pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks over the past few weeks, he showed mortality.

Then, it’s on to San Diego for a short, four game series and right back to Chase Field. The Diamondbacks have allowed 29 runs in their last three games and six or more runs in five straight games. This features four with Atlanta and three with the Cincinnati Reds.
