Nokia C1 Android Phone Appears In A Leaked Press Render

According to Nokia, the agreement with Microsoft doesn’t allow it to release new smartphones or mobile phones until late 2016.

It has been said that the upcoming smartphone that will carry Nokia’s logo will be known as the Nokia C1, although that has not been confirmed by any party just yet.

Following very weak sales in recent years, owing to the increasingly larger popularity of Samsung and Apple devices, the Nokia sold their mobile phone business to Microsoft.

A lot of them claim that the first Nokia smartphone after many years will be called C1, but so far almost every leak introduced us to a different device.

However, Nokia apparently intends to make a comeback to the smartphone market sometime next year, and up until now rumors had it that the company’s first smartphone to hit the shelves after the clause ends will be powered by near-vanilla Android. We can also see the phone running two operating systems: Android with Nokia’s Z Launcher and Windows 10. To be frank it’s a case of picking straws at this stage as to which, if any, is the real deal.

But assuming that the render above is somehow legit, it looks like Finnish company might want to release the Nokia C1 in two main flavors, each with its own operating system. The device appears to be running Android (in the foreground) and Windows 10 Mobile (in the background). We will update the post when we hear back. There has been no mention of a Windows version before now. Unfortunately we don’t have any information, except for what we can see in the renders. Would you approve if the Nokia C1 turned up looking like this?
