Nook’s newest life-form is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2
Samsung, however, disagrees and is eager to prove that the new Galaxy Tab S2 is the best tablet around. The Galaxy Tab S2 also weights less, coming in at 389g compared to the iPad Air 2’s 437g. It also beats the former world’s thinnest Dell Venue 8 7840 by more than 8 percent, reports Christian Post.

For years, the iPad display lorded it over with its super-clear Retina screen rendering technology but the Tab S2 looks headed to ending that rule this 2015.
The tablet runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system that has some proprietary features such as Reading mode, Dual-Window multitasking and Pop-Up Window. The difference is that this version of Galaxy Tab S2 has been loaded with enormous digital data from the Nook store, according to PC Mag.
However, all the cool features in the Tab S2 come at a steep price.
Barnes & Noble and Samsung have launched the latest iteration in their joint mission to combine tablets and e-readers. This included their reign in the worldwide tablet market as well. The pre-orders can already be placed today. There are various apps which are otherwise paid but offered for free with Galaxy Tab S2 for a limited period. There is also an 8-megapixel auto-focus primary camera and a 2.1-megapixel front camera for selfies. Due to its larger size, the 2,048-by-1,536 display works out to about 264 pixels per inch (ppi), which is actually less than the 320ppi for the 8-inch Tab S2.
The Galaxy Tab S2 is powered by Exynos Octacore processor (Quad 1.9GHz + Quad 1.3GHz) coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage extendable to 128GB via microSD card. Given the fact that the previous Galaxy Tab S device had a wonderful Super AMOLED screen, we’re betting this new one, the Galaxy Tab S2 will maintain the same high standards.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 NOOK: Available in Barnes & Noble stores across the USA and online at www.nook.com for $399.99. “Then push them.” The company did not give out any detail of the product, though it did mention that the device will be launched in October.
