NORAD readies to track of Santa’s journey on Christmas Eve
Sometimes, the visit’s more involved with the parents than it is with the children. How about we create a little dynasty in the WAC and let them win the league title this next year? The real-life man in red came to Korea all the way from Finland, where he claims to live near the Arctic Circle, to rekindle the Christmas spirit in adults and kids alike. Since that first year, NORAD staff and friends have volunteered their time every Christmas to respond to phone calls from children around the world asking about Santa’s whereabouts at Christmastime.

Santa really represents charity and love toward others. She didn’t want to perpetuate a myth or have her children resent her for bending the truth one way, so she bent it another.
Just two days till Christmas!
Q. How old are you, really? I get what you mean about feeling like you’re not being honest. There was a small snowstorm. I would like to see you straighten out Johnny Manziel. Should I just drop the act and acknowledge the legend as fiction, or should I keep it up for the sake of the younger kids (3 and 5)? Now I don’t have it, and I can not remember my birthday.
Is there a certain diet you follow to stay in shape? The toys I received so many years ago have long since broken and been thrown away, and my dentist has become rich because of all the candy I ate. Am I being too selfish to ask for a repeat this next year? In the wintertime, we throw snowballs. There are few responsibilities more serious than that and I took the job with some trepidation. Marking the annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, Christmas is celebrated across the world on December 25.
I was about five years of age when my mother came in with a big book. He was Santa Claus. My family enjoys spending the evenings hunting for the magical northern lights and warming up in the sauna. According to the Gospels, this should be one of the most important days in all of Christendom as we celebrate the birth of a Savior. Throughout the year, we got toys when we earned them from our allowance or thanks to a treat from Grandma, so it made sense that all those toys Christmas morning were from a jolly old guy who made them at the North Pole. This is as much as I can reveal. On Christmas, there is this Christmas magic that makes everything happen.
Another youngster, Leah, from Shrule in Co Mayo, wrote an impressive A3-sized letter, complete with hand-drawn pictures of the reindeer and elves at work.

Some requests were obviously a little tougher than others. I have never been much good with air travel and we ended up having to stop just outside of Uzbekistan for a quite a while until I calmed down. We took turns each day pulling the sequined, stuffed felt ornaments from the calendar pockets and pinning them to the tree, and slowly moving the famous couple toward an empty manger – the baby Jesus was always hidden until his appearance on the 25th. So you better believe we are excited for Santa to arrive in our house.
