North Korean athletes cross border for Olympics

In a call with Japan’s Shinzo Abe, the White House said both leaders agreed to “intensify the worldwide maximum pressure campaign to denuclearize North Korea”.

He declared the standoff with the rogue regime “a tricky situation” and again blamed previous administrations for letting the crisis linger for decades.

“Racial discrimination and misanthropy are serious maladies inherent to the social system of the US, and they have been aggravated since Trump took office”, the white paper, issued by the Institute of International Studies in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, reads.

When the U.S. goes to war, it tends to go full throttle – in recent times, this has translated into regime change (think of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya).

The report also includes some statistics which can not be authenticated at the moment regarding non-paid maternity leave by the usa government, sexual abuse, and increased interest on student loans. So we’ll see what happens, but in the meantime, we’ll get through the Olympics and maybe something good can come out of the Olympics. Yet some policy officials and military experts claim that North Korea has already crossed that line, or is at least very close to attaching nuclear warheads to its missiles.

The U.S. and its ally South Korea halted military exercises around the Korean Peninsula in light of the Olympics.

In turn, Washington has exerted a number of diplomatic efforts to put pressure on Pyongyang and held several drills in the region.

South Korea wants all of the athletes participating in the upcoming Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang to practice safety first.

In his phone call Friday with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, the USA president thanked him “for Japan’s efforts to maintain worldwide pressure on North Korea”.

Earlier Thursday, the South Korean non-Olympic skiers practiced and participated in friendly competitions with North Korean skiers at the North’s Masik ski resort at the end of a two-day visit.

The new report comes amid fresh fears tyrant Kim Jong-un could unleash a “show of force” in the run up to South Korea’s Winter Olympics.

They also discussed expanding Japan’s missile defense capabilities, it said.

While welcoming the Pyeongchang initiative, many South Koreans have pushed back against the decision to merge both countries’ women’s ice hockey teams, calling out the sexist nature of the decision (not a single woman was involved in determining the merger).

One of which was when the president detailed the story of North Korean defector Ji Seong-ho, who traveled thousands of miles to find freedom.

Next week, North Korea is to send a 230-member cheering group, a 140-strong art troupe, taekwondo demonstrators and journalists as part of its Olympic delegation.

However, a joint cultural performance planned in a North Korean mountain resort was called off this week by Pyongyang, which blamed South Korean media for encouraging “insulting” public sentiment toward the North.
