Sienna Miller, Katie Holmes and Alicia Keys have also been spotted so far on the party circuit, and the shows look to be as starry as ever.
While it remains to be seen as to when the clothing from the Yeezy Season 4 collection will release, today’s fashion show only proved again the power and pull of Kanye West and his ability to create fashion-forward pieces while staying true to his Yeezy Season line.
The Yeezy Season 4 show took place seven months after Kanye’s last fashion unveiling in February, when he showed off his Season 3 designs at Madison Square Garden during an event which doubled as a listening party for his The Life of Pablo album. “Regardless of whether Yeezy does choose to include darkskinned women in the end, the coded language of the casting call was clear and a part of a broader problem of colorism in the fashion industry”. The runway show also featured looks heavy on floral patterns from Macy’s private INC brand collection in collaboration with NY fashion icon Iris Apfel.
The show was so late, in fact, that some of the models began to wilt in exhaustion.
But the unique display was hampered by reports that models were fainting and in desperate need of water as they were forced to stand in the baking heat without shade.
Kylie, Kendall and sister Kim Kardashian pulled out all the stops at the fashion show at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island, dressed in head-to-toe Yeezy.
Model Amina Blue even kicked off her heels on the runway after being unable to walk.
But when it comes to the Kardashian/Jenner/West clan, all publicity is good publicity and West’s so-called “disastrous” NYFW show is unfortunately probably no different. I went backstage to say hi and she came up to me and was like, ‘What do I do?
Finally, West said that he thinks the first Adidas/Kanye store will open in California, saying he’d like to do “200 stores in the next year”, but added, “That’s just me saying what I want”.

The show, which was also streaming live on Tidal, actually started around 4:41, at which point models, all wearing some variation of cream-colored sweater-dresses and hoodie dresses and leotards paired with oversized hooded jackets, hobbled down a triangle-shaped runway.
