Norwich V Man City at Carrow Road

Manchester City’s attacking midfielder Jesus Navas believes a win against Norwich City away on Saturday could give them the ideal boost for the remaining games on the road this football season.

‘We’ve played well against the top teams so far this season – it’s not out of our capabilities to get a result, ‘ said the Scotsman. After Manchester City started the season on a tear and looked like prohibitive favorites to capture the title, they’re now 10 points off of league leaders Leicester City and trying to keep a stranglehold on a Champions League spot.

” Luckily it’s the same situation for us but at the other end of the table, we’re also in the same position where we can’t really afford to lose points. “We have been in the games, we just need to make sure we turn performances into results”.

“The next four games will be very important to reduce the gap and we will see what the gap is like after the next four games”, he said.

‘The most important thing is that we don’t have margin of error, and we need to win our games.

“But maybe he and Samir Nasri, and I hope also Fabian Delph, will play one or two games with the under-21s”. They did so to take the crown in 2012 and 2014 and Pellegrini wants to lead another charge. “I hope the next two months – the last 10 games – we can prove that on the pitch and not just talking”. The Canaries are involved in a three-team relegation scruffle and can not pick the games from which to win points.

‘At least if they win the title it’s because they won all their games and not because we couldn’t win ours.

Only one team has prevented Norwich City from scoring in their last nine Premier League games at Carrow Road (Tottenham Hotspur). Reaching the Champions League quarter-final for the first time would be an important achievement.

There is no doubt in my mind that the home team will be more up for this match at the opening whistle and I think there has to be plenty of mileage in backing Norwich/Draw in the HT/FT Market.
