Not a happy hour: Beer truck overturns, dumps cans on highway
The tranquility of a quiet morning was shattered after pictures surfaced of an overturned beer truck that had spilled its ice cold suds all over Interstate 75.

Gaskins said the truck’s driver, Malcolm Jamal Wilcox, was distracted by his dog running off the roadway and then overcorrecting. He lost control of the truck, which was hauling Budweiser beer. The 23-year-old trucker from Fernandina Beach hastily tried to deviate the vehicle back on track, but instead steered the truck across the highway.
Wilcox lost control and traveled onto the outside shoulder and over-corrected before crossing the roadway and striking the center median guardrail and overturning.
Much of the cargo spilled onto the road, forcing troopers to close the southbound lanes in Hernando County for more than three hours.
Wilcox was cited for careless driving, troopers said.

No one was injured, including the dog.
