The USA online retailer has released a series of time-limited deals, which countdown throughout the day. In addition, Prime members will receive first dibs on more than 30,000 deals through Prime Early Access.

Although there are nearly four weeks left until Black Friday Amazon already launched its Black Friday Deals Store . The 30,000 Lightning deals with early access will likely though be the best deals Amazon will offer in November.

As always, Amazon wants to expand membership in Amazon Prime, not only because the service collects $99 annually from each subscriber, but because Prime members tend to spend a lot more at Amazon.

There’s a few good deals now available, as well as a few slightly unusual ones – Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, a new and highly-rated video game is now selling for $40, instead of the usual $60.

Amazon has launched portals for its countdown to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, offering discounts on products such as toys, DVDs, clothes, appliances, and electronics.

In an effort to further entice customers to become Amazon Prime members, Amazon is offering members a 30 minute head start over non-Prime members to see what it’s calling “lightening deals” as they are posted.

On November 1, CNET.com reported that among the early deals from Walmart will be an iPad Mini 2 for just $199 as part of their early rollback deals.

Since around half of consumers do holiday shopping before the Thanksgiving weekend, it’s important for retailers to find ways to attract shoppers and compete with rivals, Fortune reports. Shoppers will be able to avail this deal either in stores or online via the Walmart website.
