Notre Dame WR Will Fuller says he’s coming back for senior season
Wake Forest enters play with a 3-6 record and a 4-5 mark against the spread, while Notre Dame is 8-1 straight up and a profitable 7-2 against the spread. Concerts, Masses and lectures are among the offerings surrounding the Notre Dame vs. Wake Forest game, the last game in Notre Dame Stadium for the season. Notre Dame only ran 49 offensive plays, below its season average of 70.3 per game, per TeamRankings.com.

The Odds: Notre Dame is a 27 point favorite against Wake Forest.
It was the second touchdown run of at least 90 yards this season for Notre Dame.
Sure, that’s the focus within the Notre Dame locker room, especially as underclassmen like Kizer see their senior teammates cherishing one last game-and win-inside their home stadium. The Irish offense is just that good.
The Irish, of course, simply need wins in both those games to prolong the playoff hopes. Player Who Matters If Prosise is scratched because of last week’s head injury, Notre Dame will once again turn to rookie Josh Adams, who looked very capable last Saturday at Heinz Field. While the rest of the potential playoff participants are playing in conference championship games or, in the case of the Big 12, would-be championship games, Notre Dame will be sitting home.
That’s probably a good thing. The previous longest running play for the Irish was a 92-yard TD run by Bob Livingstone in 1947 against USC. “Spending this time with them and really seeing how special this has all been, it’s one of the best moments of my life, honestly, spending it with them”.
Young blood helped – the freshman Kizer had a pair of scoring runs despite throwing for only 111 yards – but the night belonged to seniors. After a defensive battle in the first half, Thomas Ueland scored the game-winning goal for the Fighting Irish in the 60th minute.
“This is what we dream of, to be in this position at this time of the year”, he said. “That is a theme with our football team this year”.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in one of the college football games on Saturday, November 14 at 3:30 PM, at Notre Dame Stadium. After that, Notre Dame closes the regular season against No. 7 Stanford.
Fuller, a junior, could have forgone his senior season for the Irish and declared for the NFL Draft.

“For a baseball fan and for a kid that liked the Red Sox, going to play in Fenway is a Bucket List things for me to go there”. The Irish will try to make that happen but first must look to avoid a major upset as they take on Wake Forest. “He saw a lot of variations, a lot of different coverages today”.
