Notting Hill Carnival ‘can’t carry on’ because it is a ‘battleground’
Notting Hill is in north-west London and is one of the largest street festivals in Europe.

More than 300 people have been arrested at the two day carnival, mainly relating to drugs and offensive weapons.

At 4:28pm, police were called to reports of another stabbing, this time involving a 20-year-old man.
The police said they have seized over 150 canisters of nitrous oxide rom Wormington Road, Kensington and Chelsea. “I think many Londoners will wonder whether the significant amount of taxpayers” money spent policing this event is frankly worth it’.
In addition, approximately 120 bottles and 500 cans of beer were seized by Westminster City Council Trading Standards.
The investigations have been referred to trading standards officers.
