Kyrgios, who was fined 10-thousand US dollars by the ATP for his courtside comments, later issued a statement apologising for his remarks, insisting they were made “in the heat of the moment”.

Stanislas Wawrinka, of Switzerland, wipes sweat from his forehead during his match against Borna Coric, of Croatia, at the Western & Southern Open tennis tournament, Wednesday, August 19, 2015, in Mason, Ohio.
On the men’s side, fourth-seeded Stan Wawrinka rallied for a 3-6, 7-6 (3), 6-3 win over Borna Coric.
Wawrinka said: “I was struggling today to be completely on the court and to fight the way I wanted and everything. I was playing really bad tennis but most important is the win”. Paire saved a total of 7 set points before Novak could eventually take control of the match and swing the racket with much less tension in the second set.
Wawrinka was then asked if he was happy with the way that Kyrgios, who lost his opening match in Cincinnati, had apologised for the incident. He will meet Ivo Karlovic in the third round.
Wawrinka said: “I think for me it was good to play some doubles, to have fun on the tennis court with Leander”.
Coric couldn’t recover and Wawrinka went on to break his opponent to go ahead 4-2 in the third set before clinching the match in two hours and 17 minutes.
“I forgot how tricky Mardy was to play against”, Murray said after improving his career record to 5-4 against Fish.
Top seed Djokovic cruised through his opener against Paire 7-5 6-2 to set up a third-round clash with Belgian 13th seed David Goffin. He’s a great guy and I really love to play with him.
