Now Google’s Inbox will answer your emails on web as well

As much as it’s a tool for users, Smart Reply is also a way for Google to work on artificial intelligence, specifically the way in which the system learns. The tech giant has finally rolled out the feature to its web version.

This feature is facilitated due to Google’s AI and natural language processing prowess, where it starts out by serving up simple responses like “Thank you” or “I’ll take a look”.

Keep the feedback coming using the “Help & Feedback” link in the app.

This feature has been well received by users on mobile, Google says that 10 percent of all replies sent using Inbox by Gmail app are through Smart Reply, so it makes flawless sense to bring this feature over to the web version as well. You can then decide on which one to send with just a single tap. The company announced that this feature will be available on the web.

It saves you the time of trying to think of email replies…. This should not be a problem with continuous use as machine learning should be able to “learn” better.

At the time of launching the feature for Inbox by Gmail mobile app, Google said, “There’s actually a lot going on behind the scenes to make Smart Reply work”. You can also visit the “bundle” option and create a custom bundle, where the emails containing a specific word can be classified into a single bundle. the same can be done in case of mails from one recipient. Whenever you are replying to an email, you will be given three easy responses, which can be edited as per your requirement.
