Syndrome, a new space survival horror game, is coming in 2016. In the midst of this deeply frightening environment, surrounded by reactive enemies that pick up on every move and sound, players must discover what has happened to the spaceship and how to escape its claustrophobic confines alive. There are a few weapons scattered about, but nowhere near enough ammunition to deal with all the transformed monstrosities.
That means players have to choose when to run and when to fight.
However, there are other ways to survive in Syndrome.
Developer Camel 101 said the game pits players against threats that can not always be vanquished. What will attract their attention? “Take note – each misstep could be deadly”. As in classic survival-horror titles, Syndrome, will force players to scavenge for supplies and ration their resources such as ammo and health, while the option to stay hidden from your enemies also remains.
The game is set to come out Q2, 2016 for the PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Mac and Linux.
