Now you can order Domino’s via bluetooth
Nestled inside a miniature pizza box, the button – dubbed the “Limited Edition Easy Button” – is powered by FLIC, which pairs up to an app that will deliver pizza fresh to your door.

Although not unlike Amazon’s Dash service for quickly buying household items, the team may well have been inspired by the PiePal Raspberry Pi hack from iStrategyLabs sketched out back in 2013, which was designed as an emergency Domino’s ordering button. If you want a button, you’ll have to win it via a social media competition that Domino’s is launching in December. What have we become?
It’s nearly completely useless, of course, as you can simply use the app to make your order.
All you have to do is register your delivery details and favourite pizza, and from then on you’ll be able to order pizzas at the simple click of a button.

Simon Wallis, sales and marketing director Domino’s Pizza Group explains, said: “The Domino’s app has been downloaded over 10 million times and 75 per cent of our orders are now online”. The second release is expected to take place in February 2016, but in the meantime if you don’t really care about the button, there is also a digital version that can be found inside Domino’s mobile app. “We also know that our customers love innovation, which further improves the ease of ordering such as our Pizza Tracker”. Unfortunately, the buttons won’t be available for sale – that’s probably for the best.
