NRA Comes To Trump’s Defense With Anti-Hillary Ad
Even as Donald Trump told a North Carolina rally Tuesday that “Second Amendment people” might be able to stop Hillary Clinton from taking away their guns, the NRA unveiled a $3 million ad campaign against her. It is the third ad by the NRA super PAC.

The ad may successfully depict how Hillary Clinton is far removed from the rhythms of everyday life for average Americans.
According to POLITICO, the NRA is the only major political group that is spending money for Trump, and has spent $6 million in this cycle for him. Protected by armed guard for 30 years. “But she doesn’t believe in your right to keep a gun at home for self-defense”. “She’d leave you defenseless”, the ad ends.
“Hillary wants to abolish – essentially abolish the Second Amendment”, Trump said.
The 30-second spot attempts to paint Clinton as “out of touch” – describing her as one of the wealthiest women in politics who “tours” the world on private jets.
Still, the attack ad marks an important change in one way, the Trump camp seems no longer to be satisfied with staying out of the ad war in what is seen as a must-win state for the Republican presidential nominee.
Hillary’s campaign also responded by saying she “supports common sense measures like comprehensive background checks that will help decrease the number of gun deaths our nation suffers every day”. “So it is not an understatement to say that the future of American freedom is at stake in November”, said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA’s Political Victory Fund.

The ad comes after Trump struggled to stop defections, as numerous GOP’s strongest donors, politicians and supporters are jumping ship in response to his recent conduct.
