We’re going to be cheering him on.

Lawson would give the Rockets needed depth at point guard with Patrick Beverley, though is now dealing with off-the-court issues.
There were times when he was better than others.
Lawson placed the Nuggets in a tough situation after his second DUI arrest of 2015, bringing his trade value down to an all-time low.
Lawson was traded to the Houston Rockets on Sunday for a 2016 protected first-round pick, Kostas Papanikolaou, Pablo Prigioni, Joey Dorsey and Nick Johnson on Sunday, according to Yahoo Spots.
I love Ty and will always love Ty, but once I saw him going down this dark path, we knew that we probably were going to end up in a situation where we were dumping him.
According to Denver Post, Lawson’s attorney, Harvey Steinberg, confirmed that the player will enter a 30-day intensive residential program that will ensure his sobriety in a luxury rehab center in Malibu, California. But we want our guys to be able to handle their personal lives on their own. We’re not going to be drill sergeants.
“When you’re trying to be the best team out of 30 you’ve got to risk all over the place”, Morey told National Basteball Association. I don’t want to go back too far.
The phrase “you could smell it” in regards to Lawson at practice certainly stands out.
One can only assume that “you could smell it” means that Kroenke could smell alcohol on Lawson’s breath during practice, which paints a pretty bleak picture. That’s a harrowing notion to think about concerning Lawson’s issue with alcohol.

Ty Lawson had a turbulent last few months as a member of the Denver Nuggets. The scene described by Kroenke and the arrests aren’t the tales of an National Basteball Association party boy; rather, these are the stories of someone who sadly has a problem that he needs help working through. Kroenke has no hard feelings and hopes that Lawson flourishes with the Rockets.
