Nvidia recalling 88000 tablets

The recall covers NVIDIA Shield tablets with model numbers P1761, P1761W, and P1761WX, and with serial numbers that range from 0410215901781 through 0425214604018. However, it seems that a major flaw cropped up, and the company has decided to nip any potential problems in the bud.

Selecting the Status feature will show the Battery category. Those with B01 batteries are unaffected. Customers with affected tablets should get in touch with Nvidia. It has not been made public exactly how many tablets Nvidia would be replacing if all of them came back.
