Nvidia trounces earnings expectations, shares top 52-week high
Stockholders of record on Friday, November 20th will be paid a $0.115 dividend. The shares were sold at an average price of $25.00, for a total value of $1,250,000.00. They noted that the move was a valuation call. The shares were sold at an average price of $23.82, for a total transaction of $712,289.46. Yesterday, the graphic processing unit (GPU) maker provided upbeat top- and bottom-line results for third quarter of fiscal year 2016 (3QFY16), along with an 18% increase in quarterly cash dividends. Research Analysts at Zacks have ranked the company at 3, suggesting the traders with a rating of hold for the short term.

We are upgrading Nvidia shares to Buy from Neutral, and establishing a $36 price target (24.3x our GAAP EPS estimate of $1.48). Over the last one month and the previous three months, NVIDIA Corporation’s shares have rose 6.49% and ticked up 21.09%, respectively. Post opening the session at $28.53, the shares hit an intraday low of $28.18 and an intraday high of $28.69 and the price vacillated in this range throughout the day. Susquehanna boosted their price target on NVIDIA from $20.00 to $25.00 in a report on Friday. The company has also hiked its quarterly dividend to $0.11, up from $0.98. The company has a market cap of $14,936 million and the number of outstanding shares have been calculated to be 539,000,000 shares. Company price to sale ratio is 3.12 and has 0.70% insider ownership. Also, insider Michael Byron sold 50,000 shares of NVIDIA stock in a transaction on Monday, October 5th. In a research note released to the investors, Morgan Stanley upgrades its rating on NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA).The analysts at the brokerage house have a current rating of Equal-weight on the shares.
