My fans don’t like her, so I don’t want them to be like, ‘Oh, why do you want to work with her?’ But the reason is because she’s a different competitor and I think we’d have an interesting dynamic. You can feel the energy from the crowd and feel their emotion. I’ll be honest: The Iron Man match is obviously a good match if you haven’t seen the match from TakeOver: Brooklyn, but it’s really a great match if you do have that context.
Earlier today, I ended up watching the WWE Rivalries episode for Trish Stratus and Lita, and if there’s not a future where the same treatment is given to Sasha Banks and Bayley, then we’ll all know WWE has failed them completely. And I don’t even have to say anything about Asuka, because she’s wonderful.
