The insane fool has been identified as Stephen Rogata – his aim was to give Donald Trump a message but he was stopped on the 21st floor and later arrested by the New York Police.

Either way, police charged the man Thursday with reckless endangerment and criminal trespass in the freaky stunt.

In a freaky video posted to YouTube before his climb, he revealed he’s a Trump supporter who climbed the building to get the real estate tycoon’s attention.

But a police source said Rogata, who was found with multiple IDs when he was pulled through an open window to safety after climbing for three hours, had actually changed his name from Michael Joseph Ryan.

The campaign headquarters for Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, are inside the tower, along with the penthouse condominium he calls home.

A grinning rappeller used suction cups to scale the side of Trump Tower Wednesday afternoon. It was unclear when Rogata would appear in court or if he had an attorney who could comment for him. The world watched for three hours as Steve made it to about the 21st floor with his suction cups before police detained him.

Members of the public are free to roam inside its public atrium until 10 pm most days as part of an agreement that allowed Trump to build 20 stories higher.

“Believe me, if my goal was not significant, I would not risk my life pursuing it”, he says.

He was taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation. Police also lowered themselves toward him using a window washer’s platform.

Science entertainment television program “MythBusters” investigated Hollywood heist scenes and tested whether it was possible to scale an air duct using suction cups in episode 54, which aired in July 2006. “Police officials said he told them about a YouTube video he posted on Tuesday that explained his motives”.

“I guarantee it is within your interest to honor this request”, Ryan said in the one-minute video.

“The reason I climbed your tower was to get your attention”, the man said. “If I had sought this via conventional means, I would be much less likely to have success because you are a busy man with many responsibilities”.

Michael Cohen, an executive at the Trump Organization, called it “a ridiculous and unsafe stunt”.
