“Less than two weeks ago, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced his ambitious plan to curb New York state’s carbon emissions by 40 percent by doubling New York state’s renewable energy to 50 percent by 2030”.

Last year, California became the first state to adopt a “yes means yes” law for all schools that receive state money for financial aid.

The group representing private colleges, the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities said in a statement that the schools “remain committed to ensuring the safety of all students”, and are already adhering to federal Title IX rules regarding anti -sexual assaults efforts.
