NYC Rapper Arrested In Connection With Concert Shooting
Organizers of a concert for high school graduates are demanding a $55,000 refund from T.I., who was getting ready to perform at a concert for the students in Florida on June 11. We’re told at least 2 males and 2 females were shot and it doesn’t look like one of the males will survive.

According to reports, new footage obtained by NY law enforcement allegedly shows rapper Troy Ave firing a gun backstage at Tip’s concert.
Representatives for T.I., whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., say they’re referring all questions about the shooting to police.
Others on the bill of the Florida graduation gig include DJ David Solano, rapper Wes Walker and Pennsylvania musician Swizzy Mack.
We must mentioned again that T.I. was not involved in the NY shooting so this stigma they put on the Atlanta rapper is really unwarranted. The slain man was identified by police as Ronald McPhatter.
Reps for T.I. have not responded to the promoters legal notice. Our music is meant to save lives, like it has mine and many others. However, the Grand Hustle honcho did address the tragic incident in a heartfelt Instagram post where he expressed his condolences and prayers to those affected by the shooting.

NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton also spoke out about the shooting on Thursday, saying “so-called rap artists who are basically thugs” were responsible for the shooting.
