Collins was arrested and charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of two weapons.

McPhatter pled not guilty to the charges and will be held without bail until his trial, according to the Daily News.
T.I., who didn’t perform because of the shooting, wrote on Twitter on Thursday afternoon: “Rest In Peace Bro”. He was not involved in the violence, sources said.
However, Troy Ave’s lawyers argued that the video captured by the NYPD was taken out of context.
A stray bullet struck the model in the leg and she was taken to hospital, but she claims cops tried to interview her in the back of an ambulance.
Collins pulled a gray t-shirt over his head as reporters asked him questions.
In the short video, the gunman raises his hand several times and fires a shot to the opposite side of the room as debris clouds the screen and people scurry around the room, knocking over chairs. “It doesn’t say what happened before, it doesn’t say what happened after”, the statement further read. The Brooklyn, New York, native is clearly shown holding and firing a handgun in the clip as occupiers scramble to find cover.
Police said there were metal detectors at the Irving Plaza but are investigating whether they were used. Lemon says there’s much more to the story than the video that surfaced tells.
The victim of the fatal shooting was Ronald McPhatter, who was working as a security guard for Ave when he was shot. During the fight, that person allegedly shot Collins in the leg and struck McPhatter in the stomach. “He was a lifelong friend”. Leemon also said that scientific evidence would prove Ave did not shoot himself. “This was another rushed to judgement”.
“In this case he’s the victim and should be treated like the victim”, Leemon added.
The suspect, who was scheduled to perform at the show, was feuding with rapper Maino, who is based in Bedford-Stuyvesant. It allegedly shows Collins limping out of the green room with blood on his trousers.

The 10 p.m. shooting is captured on an eight-second surveillance video, NYTimes.com said. “As my co-counsel, John Stella, said in court, Troy has no criminal record and he is not a gangsta rapper”.
