Obama calls out Derek Jeter for hustling him at golf
When Obama arrived on the range, as he told a Las Vegas audience on Monday, he saw a nervous-looking Jeter shanking balls.

Derek Jeter managed to hold an unblemished reputation throughout his baseball career, but it looks like we can’t say the same for his golf game.
Derek Jeter was a five-time World Series champion with the Yankees and a one-time hustler of President Barack Obama.
It’s not everyday you get to play golf with the President of the United States.
In March Jeter hosted his Turn 2 Foundation’s first Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament there, drawing in the likes of Michael Jordan, Ludacris, and Ken Griffey Jr.
While at a fundraiser held by Las Vegas Sun owner Brian Greenspun, Obama complained about Jeter fooling him into thinking the ex-shortstop was awful at golf… and it cost the president.
“He said, ‘I just started two weeks ago, ‘ ” Obama recalled.
Obama, who plays in the mid 80s to low 90s, gave Jeter 30 strokes in their match.
“[Greenspun] and Derek Jeter stole money from me at Shadow Creek”. Jeter plays well, and he hustled the President. However, at the same time, maybe Obama just isn’t that great at the sport and Jeter, a natural athlete, was able to capitalize.

The president called Greenspun “a great friend” even though the newspaper publisher helped Jeter cheat him out of his dough.
