Obama Campaigning for Clinton as She Eyes Return
Host Seth Meyers criticizes Hillary Clinton’s “deplorables” comment as a mark of her affluence.

Democrat Hillary Clinton said on Monday she could resume presidential campaigning in a couple of days after a bout of pneumonia that she initially had not believed was “that big a deal”.
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton was forced to leave a September 11 commemoration ceremony Sunday in NY and seemed to stumble as she got into her van after complaining of being overheated. I feel great, ‘ he said on ‘Fox and Friends’.
‘I probably would have been better off if I’d just pulled down my schedule on Friday, but like a lot of people, I just thought I could keep going forward and power through it and obviously that didn’t work out so well’.
Her staff has said it erred in not disclosing sooner her diagnosis, which came on Friday, two days before she abruptly left an event in NY and drew questions about her health.
“What happened yesterday was that I just was incredibly committed to being at the memorial”, Clinton told CNN. I felt overheated. I decided that I did need to leave.
Campaign aides said it was Clinton’s decision to attend weekend fundraisers and the Sunday ceremony, despite Friday’s diagnosis. Several hours later, her doctor acknowledged she had been diagnosed with pneumonia two days earlier. The pneumonia is the extent of it, ‘ Fallon said.
Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon told MSNBC the campaign would release more medical information in the coming week. And in December 2013, she had to be rushed to New York’s Presbyterian Hospital after a medical scare following a fainting spell and concussion. According to average ticket prices and attendance figures provided by her campaign, Clinton raised around $6 million at the fundraiser, at which some attendees paid a hefty $50,000.
Trump also promised to release medical records once test results are back.
Later that day, her physician, Dr. Lisa R. Bardack, issued a statement about the former secretary of state’s health.
“While my opponent calls you Deplorable and irredeemable”, he said in Asheville, “I call you hard-working American patriots who love their country and want a better future for all our people”.
Are you satisfied by Trump’s first effort to address health questions, the four-paragraph open letter from his doctor last December saying the NY billionaire would be “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency”? The Republican nominee’s newfound ability to stay on script has coincided with tightening in both national polls and surveys in some key swing states.
Democrats are also warily watching a Senate landscape that looked to be favorable for the party if Trump proved to be a drag on GOP candidates.
The poll of 1,910 responses shows a lack of trust in the presidential candidate, a worrying sign for her campaign with just two weeks to go before the first presidential debate in NY and two months until the election.
Privately, some Republicans say Trump would likely be losing more convincingly to another Democratic nominee.
Will Clinton pay for her awful weekend?
“Antibiotics can take care of pneumonia”, Mr Axelrod tweeted later. Her husband, former president Bill Clinton, is instead headlining some of her events. “You can’t say the same thing about Donald Trump”, she said.
Writing in the Telegraph, Lord Hague said: ‘While we British can reach summits in Brussels or the Middle East with a short hop, our American equivalents travel relentlessly into a life of permanent jet lag.
Polls show Trump struggling mightily with big swaths of the electorate, including women, blacks, Hispanics and young people.
