“At a closing news conference he was asked about those comments that Donald Trump made about our generals being reduced to rubble and about Vladimir Putin being a better leader than President Obama”.

“In a news brief at the top of the 8 a.m. ET hour, co-host Savannah Guthrie reiterated: “.the President said that every time Trump speaks, according to the President, he confirms that he is not qualified to not be commander-in-chief.
“These are the desperate attacks of a flailing campaign sinking in the polls, and characteristics of someone woefully unfit for the presidency of the US”, Jason Miller, senior communications adviser for Trump, said. That is not acting in our interest.
But when CNN pressed the speaker if he had concerns about Trump’s high regard for Putin, Ryan dodged.
The candidates continued to trade shots on the campaign trail Thursday, after a national security forum Wednesday night.
Clinton was questioned over her handling of classified information while using a private email server during her tenure at the state department.
He also argued that Moscow wanted to destroy Islamic State (IS) militants as much as Washington does, and repeated his intention to work with Russian Federation to defeat the group in Iraq and Syria.
Trump did little to counter the criticism that he lacks detailed policy proposals, particularly regarding the Islamic State group.
Trump announced this week that, as president, he would task a group of generals to develop a plan within 30 days to quickly defeat ISIL.
He also used the forum to hit out at the military under Obama.
Trump declared on Wednesday during a televised forum attended by military veterans that Russian President Vladimir Putin had been a better leader than Obama.
Trump publicly said last night that the body language of his briefers gave him the impression that they aren’t very happy with President Obama.
A peculiar, miniature version of the USA campaign has appeared recently on Moscow’s streets, with pro-Kremlin state-funded activist groups demonstrating to praise Trump and aggressively criticizing Clinton, who they paint as a warmonger and a liar.
“Vladimir Putin’s no friend of ours, let me tell you”, said Texas Congressman Roger Williams. “I find it frustrating, but it’s part of the landscape we live in”.
The Clinton campaign has argued Trump’s friendly posture toward Russian Federation represents a possible national security threat. Both candidates believe they have the upper hand, with Clinton contrasting her experience with Trump’s unpredictability and the Republican arguing that Americans anxious about their safety will be left with more of the same if they elect Obama’s former secretary of state.

Clinton’s campaign released a list of 16 expected participants for Friday’s session, including military, intelligence and homeland security officials, several of whom have served in Republican administrations or previously advised Republican candidates.
