Obama drops his summer playlist
(Hillary Clinton’s playlist is, presumably, 90% Stevie Nicks songs, while Donald Trump probably listens mostly to his own audiobooks).

President Barack Obama once again proved his eclectic taste in music, releasing two summer playlists Thursday while he vacations on Martha’s Vineyard with the first family.
Barack Obama isn’t just the President of the United States, he’s the President of Cool – at least when it comes to pickin’ hot jams for his summer vacation. “What’s everybody listening to?”
His playlists, one for daytime and one for nighttime, includes tracks from Aaron Neville, Billie Holiday, Sara Bareilles and Jay Z featuring Pharrell.
We do have one quip. Other cuts include Miles Davis’ “My Funny Valentine”, Esperanza Spalding’s “Espera“, Janet Jackson’s “I Get Lonely”, Chance the Rapper’s “Acid Rain” and D’Angelo’s “Lady”.
Don’t you get the feeling if The Big O was DJing your party, no one would ever leave? We’ll make up for it by watching his brilliant White House performance. Bridges adds some old school gospel and soul to the list, but is an incredibly relevant artist. And we know better, right?
President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama prepare to greet Singapore’s prime minster, Lee Hsien Loong and his wife, Ho Ching, at he White House during an official arrival ceremony in Washington, D.C., on August 2. The daytime playlist would be ideal for a barbecue (or perhaps a chill hangout session with Prime Minister Trudeau, President Obama?).

Chance The Rapper made the POTUS’ songs for the nighttime section.
