Obama drops his summer playlist of songs
Following his stints as a keynote speaker at SXSW and a professional slow-jammer-of-the-news, POTUS has once again revealed his hip side by sharing his summer playlist for 2016.

President Barack Obama, who is now vacationing with his family on Martha’s Vineyard family, released a 2016 playlist of his favorite summer jams via Spotify Thursday.

The White House released the president’s playlist Thursday as Obama vacations with the first family on Martha’s Vineyard. Here are some of the big names on his daytime list: Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Sara Bareilles, Jay Z, Prince, Aretha Franklin and the Beach Boys.
It also has some surprising modern hits like “Tightrope” by Janelle Monae and “Acid Rain” by Chance the Rapper.
