Imam Karim, head of the Masjid Al-Furqaan of Felicity, Chaguanas said that Eid ul-Adha is the greater Eid for Muslims and should be accorded greater prominence in the list of national holidays.
Some names of the festival also denote that this festival is after the completion of Hajj, the holy pilgrimage to Mecca. Ismail is happy to oblige before Allah sends His angel, Jibra’il, to inform Ibrahim that He has already accepted the sacrifice as per Gulf News.
