Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has weighed-in on hip-hop star Kanye West gearing up for a potential run at the presidency in 2020 and revealed how much of an upper hand she might give him.
Obama said that as president you spend a lot of time “dealing with a few unusual characters who behave like they’re on a reality TV show” – a clear reference to West’s wife Kim Kardashian West and the “Keeping Up With the Kardasahians” reality show empire.
“Second important tip: Saying you have a handsome dark twisted fantasy – that’s what’s known as off message in politics”. During a speech at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in San Francisco on Saturday Obama did just that, saying, “I do have advice for him”. People have lost congressional seats that way.
“That’s insane!” Obama, who lived on the South Side of Chicago before he was elected president concluded to applause. “That is insane. That’s cray!” The former first lady of the United States said she has discussed this several times with the “All Day” rapper, who has been an outspoken supporter of her campaign.

In addition to West’s presidential goals, Obama joked that the rhymesayer is also thinking about running for speaker of the House to replace outgoing speaker John Boehner. “It couldn’t get any stranger”.
