Obama is interrupting his summer vacation to do some campaigning for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee.

“We’ve got be aggressive in our campaign for 80 days, and that’s not a lot”, Obama added.
President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama head off to Martha’s Vineyard for a family vacation.
“When I say do our jobs, what I mean is we are going to have to continue to be engaged, we are going to continue to have to write checks, we are going to continue to have to make phone calls and rally people behind her candidacy”, Obama said.
Though he went after the GOP nominee, the president said he’s tired of the topic of Trump.
“She’s not always the flashiest; she’s not always the person who’s going to give you the big stem-winder”, Obama said.
Speaking at a fundraiser here on Monday Obama praised Hillary Clinton and went out of his way to avoid talking about the Republican nominee.
Obama will deliver remarks, but the news media will not be permitted to hear his answers to questions asked by some of the approximately 60 donors who are expected to attend.
Monday’s event was hosted by Hank Goldberg, a real estate investor, and his wife Carol Brown Goldberg, a mixed-media artist.
Tickets cost up to $33,400, party officials said, with the money going to Clinton’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee and state parties across the country. “I don’t have to make the case against her opponent because every time he talks, he makes the case against his own candidacy”.
There are 83 days until Election Day on November 8.
“I will tell you that I have as good a guess when it comes to how Hillary would respond as I would with anybody because I’ve seen her under really tough pressure situations”, he said.
On Monday, after almost five hours of golf and about an hour at a Clinton fundraiser in Chilmark, Obama wrapped up his day at about 7 p.m.

He warned about the “unrelenting negative campaign” that Republicans will wage about Clinton, apparently not making any direct reference to the negative attacks Trump has recently thrown his way.
