Obama implies Donald Trump untrustworthy with classified information
Bernie Sanders, 60 percent of voters in MI say Trump is not qualified to be president.

Clinton leads Trump in key states, such as Pennsylvania (11 points), New Hampshire (15 points) and MI (nine points). According to a Fox survey on Wednesday, Clinton is leading her rival by 10 percentage points: 49% vs 39%.
With the general election campaign now squarely underway, Republicans found themselves once again forced to answer questions about the latest boundary-defying pronouncement from Trump at a moment when most would rather be talking about Hillary Clinton’s record.
Something tells me Khizr Khan, after speaking at the Democratic National Convention about losing his son, a USA military soldier, in Iraq and telling the audience that Donald Trump is not fit to be president, would have ignored whatever Trump might have said about him.
In spite of a widening rift within his party, the unflappable Donald Trump has assured voters that all is well: “There is great unity in my campaign, perhaps greater than ever before”, the Republican presidential nominee tweeted on Wednesday. The words were the same Ryan used only weeks earlier to describe his hesitation toward Trump.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich finds himself in a favorable position so far since he’s being perceived as “standing up to Trump.” Sen. Portman’s chief challenger, Ted Strickland, a former Democratic governor, has attacked Portman for his endorsement of Trump and for not following the lead of his political bosom buddy Kasich, who isn’t standing up for Trump for the same reasons Democrats are battering him.
Hewitt also asked Woods to weigh in on the controversy over Donald Trump’s comments upon receiving a Purple Heart medal as a gift, which were that he “always wanted to get the Purple Heart”.
“By the way, those people who knocked down the World Trade Center, most likely under the Trump policy wouldn’t have been here to knock down the World Trade Center”, he said. He eventually endorsed Trump in June.
Reports say House Democrats are launching a Twitter ad blitz against the Donald in 15 districts and D.C.
“(Manafort) has made clear no one can help him if no one believes he will do what it takes to win”, said a senior trump aide.
He captured the attention of millions at the Democratic National Convention.
“I’m just not quite there yet”, Trump said of backing Ryan.
A knowledgeable Republican source told CNN that some of Trump’s campaign staff – even campaign manager Paul Manafort – “feel like they are wasting their time”, given Trump’s recent comments.
“I take my role seriously and in the face of the hard choice before us, I will always put America First over party and labels”, he said.
Now that Trump’s con didn’t con the Khan family, can he really be expected to successfully con the national voter base going forward?
But, it’s still too early tell what kind of impact it will have on this November’s election.

When I took to the stage to speak at the Democratic National Convention last week, I did so to honor my son, Humayun, who was killed 12 years ago while serving in the US military in Iraq.
