Obama: It Is Possible Trump Can Win

Obama, a skilled campaigner who has proven particularly effective at prodding Trump, offered his assessment of why the prospect of him on the Oval Office should frighten Americans.

In an exclusive interview with with TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie, President Barack Obama said “anything is possible” when asked if Donald Trump could win.

Obama also slammed the Republican presidential nominee for thinking he can get away with not telling the truth.

“I’m a Muslim, of course, but you can’t have people going around just shooting people and killing people just in the name of Islam”, Malik Obama added, according to Reuters.

He says he has the right to vote in the USA election in November.

“This Trump guy is a really cool guy”.

But on Mr Trump he added: “He appeals to me and also I think that he is down to earth and he speaks from the heart and he is not trying to be politically correct”.

He told BBC he approved of Trump’s ban on Muslims entering America, and said he came “across as a straightforward guy”. “I have to book an appointment, I have to send a request. there’s some lady I go through, some person and I send a request and say I’d like to see him”.

Last year President Obama paid his first visit to Kenya, but did not visit his extended family in Kogelo.

But it is Malik’s backing of Mr Trump’s controversial proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the United States to stamp out Islamist extremism that has raised the most eyebrows.

Obama was born in Hawaii to an American mother and a Kenyan father he barely knew, who left the family home and the U.S. when the future president was two years old. “It does not make any sense at all”, he said.
