Obama Just Slammed Republican Leaders For Their Hypocritical Stances On Trump

“There has to be a point at which you say, ‘Enough'”.

Trump complained that Khizr Khan was “viciously attacking” him by appearing on stage at last week’s Democratic National Convention.

“Have you even read the United States Constitution?” Trump responded, not with dignity, but by accusing Khan of silencing his (Khan’s) wife due to his “culture” during his DNC speech.

Trump also suggested that Ghazala Khan did not speak at the convention because of her Muslim faith. “They’re not being treated fairly”. Trump’s campaign admitted on Thursday that the candidate never saw a video of the USA offloading wooden pallets of currency in Tehran. “But right now I just think it’s important that the voters – he won the delegates, he won the thing fair and square, it’s just that simple”.

Yet, this may be one of the last times Khan remarks so publicly about Trump’s behavior.

“To vote Republican out of party loyalty alone would be to endorse a candidacy that I believe has exploited anger, grievance, xenophobia and racial division”, she wrote on Facebook.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a Trump ally once viewed by Trump as a potential running mate, called criticisms of the Khan family “inappropriate”.

“That is all Mr. Trump is saying and that is his position today”, Collins said. “It’s just nobody is acknowledging it”, Manafort said on “GMA” this morning.

John McCain said Wednesday he’s sticking by his pledge to support Donald Trump as the GOP’s presidential nominee despite a series of Trump comments that have brought rebukes from top Republicans, including McCain himself. I think what’s been interesting is the repeated denunciations of his statements by leading Republicans, including the Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader, and prominent Republicans like John McCain.

On its face, it seems Trump might be exacting revenge on both men, who only reluctantly and begrudgingly endorsed Trump for the “unity” of the party and the off-chance he does win.

Ryan said he would continue to back Trump despite the swirling controversy after Trump lashed out at the family of decorated soldier Capt. Humayun Khan.
