The singer was last seen alive on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. when an acquaintance dropped him off at his Paisley Park home in suburban Minneapolis.

She said Prince suffered hip injuries while performing.

Little is known about Prince’s final moments Thursday at his Paisley Park compound in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

The Sheriff said that as Prince was a “private person” it was not unusual for him to be there alone, although the fact that no one could rouse him that morning had concerned employees enough to call the Sheriff’s department. They made the 911 call at 9:43 a.m.

“Prince made us all better musicians and spiritually is the most important thing, but as musician he pushed us and he made us better and we listened deeply”, Graham told the fans. He did not confirm whether Prince was taking any medication at the time of his death.

Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson and a medical examiner’s office spokeswoman refused to comment Friday when asked about prescription drugs or a possible overdose.

Sheriff Olsen then revealed there were “no obvious signs of trauma” on Prince’s body, and declared they were not looking into his death as a suicide.

Prince, 57, was found dead in a lift on his Paisley Park estate on Thursday, where fans are still paying tributes.

Jon Bream, music critic for the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, who had covered Prince’s career since the 70s, was at the party and wrote afterwards: “He never meant to perform on Saturday…”

“For our generation, he was the songbook and the narrative for some of the greatest moments of our individual lives”, she said. Plans are under way for a musical celebration of Prince, with details to be announced later, she said. She says she tried to copy what he did to stay fit.

On Friday, medical experts in Minnesota performed Prince’s autopsy.

As part of a complete exam, relevant information regarding Mr. Nelson’s medical and family history will be gathered.

Prince’s “most beloved” friends and family have held a private memorial for the music superstar after his body was cremated.

Questions have now been raised about whether the iconic singer hid health problems from fans after a series of cancelled shows and a reported emergency plane landing for medical treatment.
