Obama on Trump’s Candidacy: ‘This Is Not a Reality Show’
Since effectively securing the nomination on Tuesday, Trump has begun testing themes to attack Clinton, Obama’s former secretary of state. Ted Cruz, who he described as “extreme” and disrespectful of his colleagues in the Senate.

With 1,086 delegates, Trump has 86 percent of the delegates needed to clinch the nomination.
The New York billionaire, recently labeled as a “loose cannon” by Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, has alienated many in his party with his unconventional campaign and statements that have angered women and minorities.
‘Hillary Clinton represents the third term of Barack Obama & our nation can not afford to continue those failed policies at home or overseas, ‘ he wrote. But I think everyone has to… allow a little bit of the steam to get out and get everybody settled down. He said Sanders has done an “extraordinary job” of raising important issues.
But many top Republicans including McCain say they won’t be going to the GOP convention.
‘I think a lot of the burden is on the presumptive nominee to do that and so we’ll see’.
Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, said today he was surprised by the US House speaker’s refusal to back his bid for the White House and that the two will meet next week.
When asked about backing Trump, Ryan told CNN on Thursday: “I’m not there right now”, although he hoped to be eventually.
Gov. Nikki Haley also said this week she will be supporting Trump if he is the Republican nominee. “This is not a reality show”, Obama said at a press briefing.
Obama is urging reporters to take Trump seriously and vet him thoroughly.
“What I’m concerned about is the degree to which reporting and information starts emphasising the spectacle and the circus”.
“I didn’t support Mr. Trump in the primary process because I strongly disagree with some of what he has said and proposed”, Davis said.
Not without concern, Philadelphia will host the Democratic National Convention.
Trump responded Thursday in a statement released by his campaign that he was “not ready to support” Ryan’s agenda as the party’s leader in the U.S. House.

But Trump, speaking on “Fox & Friends”, took a shot at the Romney-Ryan ticket, saying the 2012 election was “a race that should have easily been won”. The first moves, though, must come from Trump, he said. “I will not say, I will not say that he’s ‘low energy, ‘” Trump said, reviving his memorable nickname for the former Florida governor. Lindsey Graham, said they would not vote for him in November.
