“Because I love you so much, I ObamaCare about you more than you even know”, Obama told her.
“I don’t miss flying commercial”, the president said. “You are the President and I am your boo”, the First Lady recites in a video to her husband.
“Somebody call the situation room, because things are about to get hot”, the president said over music from Barry White. “Michelle, this Valentine’s Day, I’m going to treat you right”, he said. I’m gonna make you some zucchini bread. The president redeemed his dad joke by telling his wife, “The best decision I’ve ever made was choosing you”.

Though she dealt with a good deal of backlash immediately following her decision to come out, and ABC chose to cancel her sitcom just one year later, she was soon back with another show that ran for two years on CBS. “I’m not really gay”, she deadpanned.
Obama said that once his second term is up, he looks forward to just going for a walk on a nice day and maybe even driving a convertible, provided the Secret Service gives him the green light.
As he watches presidential candidates go at each other on the campaign trail, Obama says he doesn’t wish he was still out on the hustings. He also revealed turning down the offer to speak at her high school graduation because he would be “sitting there with dark glasses, sobbing”.
For his first visit to the Ellen DeGeneres Show since taking office, President Obama kept political shop talk to a minimum and focused instead on the more meaningful lessons he’s learned while in the White House: like how he avoids fights with the first lady. She didn’t let the opportunity go to waste, answering questions and asking a few cute ones of her own. Mrs. Obama donned a similar getup several years ago for a shopping trip to a Target store in suburban Virginia, but was photographed by an Associated Press photographer.
He has also spent the previous two Valentine’s Days in California, away from Mrs Obama. He taped the appearance Thursday while fundraising in California.
